Destination Country Requirements
Each destination country (U.S., E.U.,Canada, etc.) has its own import rules — some require rabies antibody, (titer) tests, import permits, or short quarantine periods (typically 7—30 days if documents are incomplete).
European Union (including the UK) - No quarantine if the animal has a valid microchip, rabies vaccination, and rabies antibody (titer) test done at least 3 months before travel.
If the titer or waiting period is missing, the animal may face 21—90 days of quarantine or have to restart the 3 month waiting period after testing.
Japan or South Korea: Very strict rules — animals may face 12—180 days of quarantine if documents are incomplete, since both require two rabies vaccinations and an antibody titer test before entry.
